General Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Promotion applies to customers holding Principal Card or Supplementary Card of the credit card or Co-brand Card ("Eligible Card") issued by the Dah Sing Bank, Limited (the "Bank")("Eligible Cardholder"). The Bank's UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Smart Choice" Balance Transfer Program and Cash Conversion Plan Account are not eligible.
  2. Eligible Cardholder must settle payment with an Eligible Card in order to be eligible for the Offers.
  3. The Ultra CareSure Refundable Critical Illness Insurance Plan ("Ultra CareSure"), HealthSure Hospital Cash Insurance Plan ("HealthSure"), JourneySure Travel Insurance Plan ("JourneySure"), HomeSure Household Insurance Plan ("HomeSure"), MaidSure Domestic Helper Insurance Plan ("MaidSure") and Private Motor Car Insurance Switch Plan (collectively "Insurance Plans") are underwritten by Dah Sing Insurance Company (1976) Limited ("Dah Sing Insurance"), which is solely responsible for all coverage and compensation, but not the products of the Bank. The Bank, registered as a licensed insurance agency, is the authorized licensed insurance agency of Dah Sing Insurance. Dah Sing Insurance reserves the right of final approval of the enrollment of the insurance plans.   6. These Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion programs subject to the same product.
  7. The Offers cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, services or discounts. The Offers are not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers (unless otherwise specified).
  8. The Offers shall be terminated immediately in the event that the Partner ceases business.
  9. The Bank and Dah Sing Insurance reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel or amend the Offers at any time without prior notice. Should any disputes arise, the decision of the Bank and the Dah Sing Insurance shall be final.
  10. The terms and conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of the cards and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between the terms and conditions and the Agreement, terms and conditions shall prevail.
  11. In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between the Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, the Bank is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however, any dispute over the contractual terms of the product should be directly resolved between Dah Sing Insurance and the customer (Dah Sing Insurance Customer Service Hotline at 2808 5000).
  12. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and English version of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Terms and Conditions of "Exclusive 5% Premium Cash Rebate via Online Enrollment Offer" ("Offer 1"):

  1. The promotion period is valid from 1 Jan to 30 Jun 2024 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period of Offer 1").
  2. To enjoy Offer 1, Eligible Cardholder has to successfully enroll the JourneySure, HomeSure or MaidSure via Dah Sing Insurance website and settle the online payment of premium with his / her Eligible Card ("Eligible Transaction") during the Promotion Period of Offer 1.
  3. During the Promotion Period of Offer 1, Eligible Cardholder will be entitled to a 5% premium cash rebate ("5% Premium Cash Rebate") on Eligible Transaction. Eligible Transaction is calculated based on transaction date. Transaction dates are based on the records of the Bank.
  4. Offer 1 is not applicable to the renewal of any insurance policy.
  5. 5% Premium Cash Rebate will be calculated after deducting the levy(ies) imposed by the Insurance Authority (if applicable) and credited to the relevant Eligible Cardholder's Principal Card account in the form of Dah Sing Credit Card free spending credit within 8–12 weeks after successful enrollment and will be shown on the statement of the following month. 5% Premium Cash Rebate amount will be rounded up to the nearest two decimal places. 5% Premium Cash Rebate will be used for settlement of new transaction(s).
  6. 5% Premium Cash Rebate cannot be exchanged or transferred to other accounts, exchanged for cash or any other gifts.
  7. The Bank will use the transaction record of the Bank to determine the eligibility of a Cardholder. The relevant Eligible Card should be valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period of Offer 1 and when the 5% Premium Cash Rebate is offered. The relevant Eligible Transactions must be posted. Otherwise, the Bank reserves the right to debit the equivalent 5% Premium Cash Rebate from the Eligible Cardholder's credit card account without prior notice.

Terms and Conditions of "Private Motor Car Insurance Switch Plan Offer" ("Offer 4"):

  1. The promotion period is from 1 Jan to 30 Jun 2024 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period of Offer 4").
  2. Offer 4 is only applicable to the below applicant ("Eligible Applicant"):
    • The applicant and driver(s) must be aged 25 or above;
    • The applicant and driver(s) must have more than 2 years private motor car driving experience;
    • The applicant and driver(s) must have no claim record or suspended driving license in the past 3 years;
    • The applicant and driver(s) must not incur more than 8 accumulative driving offence points in the past 3 years;
    • The applicant and driver(s) must not have any history of termination or cancellation of private motor car insurance policy contracts by other insurance companies in the past 3 years;
    • The value of the insured private motor car cannot exceed HKD1,500,000 (For private motor car valued HKD1,500,000 or above, please refer to Underwriting team for offer quotation); and
    • Occupation of the applicant and named driver(s) cannot be artist, garage workers, models, students or media photographers.
  3. Eligible Applicant can enroll Dah Sing Insurance Private Motor Car Insurance via Dah Sing Insurance enrollment hotline 2808 5000 and / or Dah Sing Insurance website www.dahsinginsurance.com and provide the relevant supporting documents including the existing valid private motor plan renewal notice issued by other insurance company ("Renewal Notice") for approval during the Promotion Period of Offer 4 to enjoy the below offers:
    • 10% off based on the premium stated on the existing Comprehensive Motor Insurance Renewal Notice
    • 5% off based on the premium stated on the existing Third Party Motor Insurance Renewal Notice
  4. Offer 4 is only applicable to annual policy and minimum annual premium is HKD1,200 plus levies imposed by Motor Insurers' Bureau of Hong Kong and other levies (if any).
