Trade ¡V Amend / Cancel Order
1. Can I check, amend or cancel an order via the i-Securities Services?

You can amend or cancel any order that has not yet executed. You may click ¡§Amend¡¨ or ¡§Cancel¡¨ in "Trade¡VOrder", and input the modified price or quantity. Then, please also enter the correct e-banking login password and click ¡§Proceed¡¨. After confirming the updated details, simply click ¡§Confirm¡¨.

 
2. What can be modified for placed order(s) ?

You can modify the order price or order quantity, but the newly-input quantity should include those already matched quantity (if any). Please also be reminded that for the increasing order quantity or amending order price, the amended order will be put in the price queue or the input price again.

For the Enhanced Limit Order Amendment on the order price or increase of the order quantity during the trading hour, the original order will be cancelled while a new Enhanced Limit Order will be placed .

   
3. Can I amend or cancel any buy/sell order?
  You can amend or cancel any orders that are not yet executed via the i-Securities Services, 24-hour automated securities trading hotline or the manned customer service hotline. You can only amend or cancel the order placed in specific branch

Please note the following for any amendment or cancellation:
- In case a new amendment order is given before the execution of the previous amendment order, the bank will only perform your latest instruction.
- After a cancellation order is instructed, you can neither recall the cancellation order nor submit an amendment order.

Trading day from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. HKEx AMS/3 Trading System will not accept any cancellation order. Any cancellation order received within the period will be handled at 2:00 p.m.
   
Trading day from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. HKEx AMS/3 Trading System will not accept any amendment order. Any amendment order received within the period will be handled at 2:30 p.m.
   
System interruption and exceptional orders which cannot be handled by AMS/3 include but are not limited to: odd lots, executed market price better than order price, prices below $0.01, quantities over 3000 lots, market orders and orders related to stocks without a previous closing price, etc.
The bank reserves the right to accept any amendment or cancellation order.
