Is a Dah Sing Gift Card a credit card? |

No. The Dah Sing Gift Card is a prepaid VISA card with a loaded value of any amount you selected between HK$100 and HK$5,000. Dah Sing Gift Card only accepted retail purchase, not allowed for cash advance and ATM access, no credit limit will be provided. |

How do I activate the Dah Sing Gift Card? |

The Gift Card must be signed before use and can be used for any transaction with merchant displaying the VISA logo or accepting VISA for payment |

Can I make a purchase for more than the amount remaining on the Gift Card? |

You can’t. Dah Sing Bank will maintain an account of each Gift Card issued and reduce the balance in the account in accordance with transactions having been effected. The transaction will be declined if you don’t have enough stored value on your Gift Card. |

Can I add more money and refund once the dollar value is loaded? |

No. You cannot reload or make any refund once the dollar value is loaded. |

Is the Dah Sing Gift Card accepting the VISA Express Payment Services? |

No. The Dah Sing Gift Card is not accepted for VISA Express Payment Services (e.g. transaction made in cinema, carpark, fast food outlets), or for mail order, online order, in casinos, on airplane or on cruise line or at local and overseas ATM. |

What happens when I spend all the value on my Dah Sing Gift Card? |

Once the stored value run out or the Gift Card depleted or the Gift Card expired, the Gift Card will have no value and is disposable. You can keep the special design Gift Card as a souvenir. The expiry date of the Gift Card is imprinted on the Card Face under “GOOD THRU”, the 2-digits of left hand-side is Month, and the others 2-digits is Year. (e.g. 09/06 is Sept 2006). |
