"0% Balance Transfer Promotion" Terms & Conditions:
1. To enjoy 0% p.a. promotion interest rate for the 1st 3 monthly statement, you should pay not more than 30% of the monthly statement balance for the following 6 consecutive months' credit card statement.
2. The procedure and interest of the approved balance transfer with 0% interest rate offer as follows :
- In the 1st 3 months, the approved balance transfer amount will enjoy 9.6% interest rate offer. The interest saved will be rebated to your Dah Sing/MEVAS Credit Card the next day after the statement date and will be shown in the next statement.
- The rebate of 0% of the 1st 3 months statement offer will be credited to to your credit card account in the 7th month. The rebate will be calculated according to the balance transfer amount, and payment received by the Bank will repay the 0% balance transfer amount first.
- The balance transfer transaction of this promotion will be treated as cash advance. From the 4th month onwards, interest rate will be 18% (APR 19.56%) until this balance transfer is completely repaid.
3. Interest will be charged on the transferred amount from the date of transfer. Cardholder must have his/her balance transfer application approved and posted, so as to enjoy the subsequent offer of 0% in the first 3 months' statement and 18% afterwards (APR is 19.56%). Payment received by the Bank will be applied to settle the account outstanding in accordance with the payment sequence stated in Credit Card Cardholder Agreement. When payment is applied towards the Cash Advance outstanding (including Balance Transfer outstanding), the Balance Transfer outstanding, if any, shall always be repaid first.
4. To enjoy the offer, Cardholder's credit card account must be in normal status during the promotion period and at the date of interest reimbursed.
5. The offer is not applicable to Dah Sing UFO Credit Card, Platinum Credit Card with Platinum Advantage Service, Autotoll Visa, Go Smart Card/ Debit Card, MEVAS M28 Card, Peoples Visa, Debit Card or Smart Choice Balance Transfer Account.
   
General Terms & Conditions for Balance Transfer:
1. The balance transfer amount must be HK$3,000 or above and the upper limit is 90% of the available credit limit of your Dah Sing/ MEVAS Credit Card. The amount of balance transfer will be subject to the final decision of the Bank.
2. 'Instant Cash Reward', 'Cash Rebate' or 'Bonus Points' benefit is not applicable to Balance Transfer transaction.
3. The balance transfer promotion is not applicable to customer with 2 or more delinquent records in the past 12 months.
4. The approval process of Dah Sing Credit Card and "Balance Transfer" Application requires 2 weeks from receipt of request. The Bank will inform you the result by mail, please continue to make payment to the designated credit card issuing company or bank until you receive confirmation that your balance transfer is approved & completed. The Bank will not be held liable for any overdue payment or interest incurred.
5. Balance Transfer is not applicable to settle the outstanding balance of credit card(s) or loan/ overdraft accounts issued by Dah Sing Bank/ MEVAS Bank or Dah Sing Financial Group's any subsidiary company; it is also not applicable to settle any loan/ overdraft loan of any financial company.
6. When your application is approved, the Bank will pay for your credit card or personal loan/overdraft account payment of the above mentioned account and the outstanding will be subsequently charged to your newly opened Dah Sing/ MEVAS Credit Card account.
7. At the same time, you will be subject to the terms and conditions and the loan / repayment conditions (including all interest incurred and related charges) of the "Balance Transfer Program" as announced by the Bank on the date of application. Such terms and conditions will be available at our credit card centre.
